The other night, we were in the living room watching This Is Us (don’t get me started ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜) and suddenly all of our LED can lights went into a light show that would make Above and Beyond jealous. Each one was blinking in a medium-speed strobe style, each asynchronous from the next.
Immediately I thought, “This is it! The Mother Ship is landing.” I waited with baited breath to hear the tuba tones call.
Well, as exciting and semi-scary as all of this might sound, I was not in fact abducted by aliens…at least not that night.
The actual explanation turned out to be a broken leg of power from the main box to our home’s breaker panel. The ultimate cause is still unknown, but at least the power company was able to temporarily restore all service to our home until they can make the proper repair.
For another funny “alien abduction” story, watch this SNL skit that’s become one of my absolute faves. Fridays deserve a good laugh!

“Dream” by Priscilla Ahn
This one came on the Pandora this morning while I was getting ready for work.
This song will always remind me of our (VERSus Productions) feature length rom-com, In Your Dreams.
That’s hilarious. Or maybe it was Jack showing his appreciation from beyond for you watching the show haha!🤣

Trust me, I’ll never leave a Crock-Pot plugged in when I’m not standing over it, poised with a fire extinguisher. I also check all our alarms with extreme OCD.

I found myself unplugging all my kitchen appliances after the show. But I quickly regretted it when I had to reset my coffee pot. Not faulty appliances allowed.

I would unplug everything, but setting the clock displays every day is #TeamTooMuch!
