Reviving Dilly Dabbler

Hello, Dabblers!

I apologize to my subscribers—no matter how exclusive that list may be—for my sudden drop off and disappearance from the Dilly Dabbler blog. It has been entirely too long since the last post: 266 days, to be exact, but who’s counting?

So much has happened that took my focus and stole my writing bug for a while. Okay, a long while. 😬 I guess you could say my muse packed up and went to relax on some beach somewhere. (Please excuse the Blake Shelton reference. Man, that mullet was so bad, Blake!)

Anyhow, the 1-year anniversary of the blog is fast approaching and I’m ready to breathe new life into it. I think the Thanksgiving season is the perfect time to begin again.

A Couple Things I’m Thankful For

Family

Rob, Derek, Cooper & Spencer
Rob, Carl, Kaye, Matt
The Smith / Noble Family
Derek, Rob, Grecia & Chad

Friends

Veronica, Noah, Jeannie, Sarah, Rob
Erica & Rob
Rob, Derek, Heather & Alex
Rob, Derek, Zachary & Brian
A handful of friends from Broadway to Africa

And so many more who aren’t pictured above!

Certainly, I could go on practically forever listing all that I am thankful for, yet it’s never been clearer to me just how important family and friends are in one’s life. The relationships we form—whether for a reason, a season, or a lifetime—are truly what life is all about.

So, let’s dabble through life together some more, right here on Dilly Dabbler. Happy Thanksgiving, readers!

“Future Friends” by Superfruit

Honestly, check out both Superfruit albums, Future Friends – Pt. 1 and Future Friends – Pt. 2. The songs are great and the corresponding music videos on YouTube are fun and inventive.

I like the idea of this song, that even if there is a growing-apart or a falling-out between folks, there’s always a chance they can still be future friends.
